its the eve of the eve of christmas
wow, it seems as though special holidays like this gets more mundane year by year
i still remember years ago when i was a kid
i used to look forward to christmas so much
and was all hyped up
with the christmas decorations around the house and the christmas tree
me and my brothers would wait up on christmas eve, just waiting to tear open our christmas presents under the tree
now all that seems to be nothing but a memory, for now,
we have all grown up
does growing up mean that all of this special traditions will be lost?
its great to be a child
living in fantasies and enjoying life itself
i so hope for a special christmas some year down the road

adding to my bucket list: spending christmas in manhattan :)

wish that this year's christmas will be something special too :)

this years coming to an end pretty soon..
promos over, alvl mt over, submission of wr is over, op is tmr..
this year went by very quickly, and i dint experience as much as what i thought i would have
my grades are okay, S for physics , C for maths, D for econs, A for chemistry, B for gp
kinda satisfied except that im scared of physics, what am i gonna do now
im gonna have to work hard to improve my physics, but that would mean some work during the holidays, but i highly think that wont be possible :/

got me thinking about my future after promos,
i wanted to take animation course at ntu
but i realised i cant do the portfolio
im sure that i would hand in a lower quality 1 compared to all those poly grads
im scared, scared that i wont have a place to go to after jc
was this the right choice
i just hope alls well that ends well
and that an opportunity comes knocking on my door

cant wait for orientation
all over again
reliving the experience that i felt at the start of this year

suddenly felt that i had to post my thoughts.
suddenly got quite emo.
suddenly thought about my future, and life.
what life after school would be. afterall, i am at one of the final stage of school life.
afterwhich, there wouldnt be school life anymore. i wonder how it would be like.
im sure that school would be the best period in my life.
im gonna miss the friends i make, the things we did, everything..
thats just life, it moves on. and we have to too.
but it just makes me so sad, that we cant return the to past and relive our memories
all the fun i had, the tears that flowed and the experiences that i went through.

really wanna treasure what i have in jc now.
dont wanna regret anything.
i want to make it a great experience, something that i can look upon when i pass out of school life.
it will surely make me sad when i reminisce about my school life when im older, but nothing can be done about it. it would be even more sad if i didnt have a great experience.
hence, i wanna make it a great one. an awesome one.
im going to do well in my academics and cca, and venture new grounds and experience new adventures, broaden my perspectives and horizon. i wanna live this 1 life i have to the fullest.

great to them again :D
joining cheerleading was one of the best decisions in my life mannnn :P

My brother sent a letter from army today
it was really touching.
i cant say much but, the letter was the best thing ive seen him done in my whole life
the letter made my mom cry, and it was quite emotional.
it almost made me cry :/ but i held it in.
this made me think so much about my life, and my family.
though i dont say it, i love my family so so much.
i feel so fortunate that i was born into this family

mom and dad: love you for bringing me up and all the love you've shown towards me :)
to my brothers: love you guys for being my brothers :) its nice to have older bros like you all. you might not know it, but ive learnt so much from you guys :)

its been about a month since school started proper.
a teacher makes a great impact on the students.
today, one of the best teachers ever to teach me in my life left us.
Dedicated to Mr Rakunathan, thanks for teaching us for the past month
its quite sad to see you leave, especially when you are such a great teacher
however, this life is yours to lead and your many years of hard work of teaching the previous batches will definitely not go to waste
im sure the students you have taught will remember you too ^_^
you have been extremely awesome :) wont forget the times in class
though its only been about a month
couldnt imagine if you had taught us for 2 years, before we graduate and leave the school
im sure then it would be more emotional :/

CNY celebration at school today.
1st up was boring lion dance troupe.
next was boring performance.
i really appreciate vs' wushu team now. so much better :)

Went back to vs to meet with d.gang :)
went to pah games to play lan
first outing since we got into jc :)
i remininced my vs life as i walked down the path to the lan shop.
parkway parade. vs hangout place.
all the times i spent there with my friends were awesome
zion. pioneer. home of pool. breakers. these places of interaction and bonding
its really quite amazing that dota actually brought us all together
we came from different primary schools
we didnt know each other
Dota. it brought us closer to one another
helped us forged new friendships
hope that these outings wont disappear
and my friendship with some of them wont fade away
as we embark on our different routes

Today marks the end of orientation 2010, Odyssey.
Wet games during the morning.
Finale Clash of Vikings was fun. lol. loved defending from water bombs.
The finale night was EPIC. AWESOME. WOOHOO.
and for the first time in MJ's history, ATLAS WON! ^_^
yeah yeah yeah. sure did kicked some butts woohoo.

I used to stand by the gallery, looking down at the past few batches of sec4's sitting at the hall, waiting to collect their results. Every year, since i was sec1, i would be there, looking at how they would fare, thinking 1 day, i would be the one sitting there. That day, was today. Its like, so fast... anxious, nervous, scared, excited. emotions overload. yeah. its nervewrecking, just sitting there. i mean, 4 years in this school, and this day would show me what i have achieved here. Like, how well my seed had grown, since i planted it on my first day in this school.

I really wanted to break 10. I really did. I didnt care what i got, as long as i broke 10, i would be so, extremely, happy, satisfied, glad, conceited. ^_^. Ok, being one of the only 2 dnt students in the cohort, when the principal announced that me and kayfong both got A1, i was really happy, though it was kinda to be expected, but i was at least assured of that A1, and my dream of breaking 10 was closer. Come on.. please lemme break 10... was all i could think before i went up to collect my results. Jennifer Koh's "you think leh?" when i asked her if i broke 10, was so scary lol. COS I THINK I DINT! I mean, i checked the answers for the mcqs and i reviewed how i fared over the papers, and i gotta say i dint really do well.. so i thought i might get 11-14.. Whoo boy. I counted my L1R5 and YEAH. I BROKE 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO TIME -.- queuing halfway then had to leave :( sigh. The other rides were pretty fun, though not as thrilling as those in disneyland/disneyworld ^_^

Headed over to resort we would be staying in, long, long, long ride there.
Stopped for dinner in some cool traditional restaurant.

Weather was great! Never will it feel like that in Singapore =/
Woosh. Went over to Fraser Place to check in, the apartment i would be staying in for the night.
A-W-E-S-O-M-E. The place was bigger than my house lol. nice nice. Ate complimentary breakfast there before heading out to explore KOREA :)

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington
chemistry mid-term exam. The answer by one student was so "profound" that
the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of

Here is the "Bonus Question" on the exam: "Is Hell exothermic (gives off
heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?"
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas
cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.
One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we
need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at
which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul
gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different
Religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state
that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since
there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong
to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell.

With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls
in Hell to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's
Law states that in order for the temperature and
pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand
proportionately as souls are added. This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls
enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until
all Hell breaks loose.

2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in
Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa (a
girlfriend of mine during my Freshman year) that, "it will be a cold day
in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account the fact that I
slept with her last night, then number 2 must be true, and thus I am sure
that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over.

The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it
follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore,
extinct...leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine
being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting "Oh my God."

lol. went to changi airport today to send my bro off to hong kong.
Then all of us dint remember which floor we parked at, and we began searching..
Went to B1, then went to B3, as we thought it was at B3, but B3 was empty... so it wasnt there
Went to B2, searched through the whole carpark, not there
Went back to B1, searched through the whole carpark, not there... maybe we missed out 1?
lol wanted to go back to B2 to search, the i thought, "what if there's another carpark?"
Told my family and WALA! There IS!
And then we had to walk all the way to the other carpark -.-
weee and we had to start searching again lol.

It was kinda cool lol. The food served was all "Christmas spirit" and stuff.
There were hams, lambs, etc.

Then watched Transformers lol. 2nd time watching and its still damn exciting.

Yeah today was kinda more fun than yesterday =D
But it was kinda boring the first half of the lesson.

today was the first day of a 3 day first aid course given to bb boys by specialists from Raffles Medical group.

Ran competitive in cross country today lol
For me, running competitive is just an experience cause i never ran competitive before =p
hahas it was kinda nice, the weather was so cooling and the wind kept blowing =D

Ytd went to youth rally, started off incredibly boring until went to toa payoh stadium!
Everybody was so high lol
The performances by the dance and drama ministry were kind of the best =P

Crap. Getting sick during exam period is like gg =.=
and i actually got sick today. Cant concentrate on studying now =/
Friday's ss paper wasnt that bad, lucky phay told me that conflict wasnt coming out for seq
and i had around half an hour to study AND MEMORISE the whole chapter on bonding
after the english paper, lawl

For now, im only scared of 3 subject- Chemistry, Geography and Amaths
Chemistry is like -.- done so many practice papers yet there are still so many questions that i dont know how to do...

Geography is the studying subject zzz. 4 freaking big chapters to study =.= Ok minus off development since that is about linking this and that. Theres still so much to cover and theres the lame case study...

Amaths is erm. When i received past year's papers, i only know how to do those questions that require simultaneous equations, the rest im stuck lol. The worst is logarithms, which i totally dont know how to do, then indices, which is 90% dont know how to do lol. So its GG for amaths!!

Heyy its the day before teachers day celebrations! Also the 2nd last day before the school holidays =D yay

Boring day today though. First 2 lessons, physics and geography was so interestingly boring -.-
Chinese was fun lol. We were playing the trendy calculator game that is all the rage now in our class and Erwin and I got caught by Mr Chew hahas. lol Mr chew is so retardedly funny. He also NEVER gets angry, though he pretends to be lmao. Hahas after school slack awhile at the canteen where the teachers were having their celebrations and eating. Met Sean afterwards and played his psp =P hehe... Then pangseh him and Joon Hau as they went to meet iggy and friends at bedok mrt. hahas suddenly memories of primary school life filled my mind =/ Reminiscence...

arrr... so sick today =/ had to go auditorium early in the morning and its like so dusty there.. it always makes me sick the whole day if i spend some time there lol. Joseph also had the flu and i got it after pe. hahas pe was fun =D played floorball lol. aidil had his thousand dragon skill thingy hahas and sikai followed it hahas. Havent had such fun during pe in a long time =/

Another thing which made me happy today was my maths results =P yay emaths A2 XD amaths B3!! hahas kinda good for me =D and omg highest for emaths is 99.5 -.- im like wtf... went to physics lab for mock spa afterwards, weeee slack period =D after physics also slack period hehee... zuraimi dint come so freee periods!! wootlarz. but i was like so sick and dint get to enjoy much =(

ohhh and the 2008 Beijing Olympics closing ceremony was soo nice =P watched it ytd on tv hahs. China really has some nice stuff to show lol. The coordinated stuff always amazes me =p and Michael Phelps is just the champ of the champs =D 8 golds, 7 of them world record, 1 olympic record? i mean, how many of the athletes can even get 1? He is da mann, just amazing. Fan of Usain Bolt too hahas. Who isnt =/ His apollo's pose is funny lol. And he is such an entertainer hahas... and woohoo for Singapore~ finally in the medal tally hahs. Its been a nice month, this August. "Ya gotta love August"

Woooo 1st post hahas.
Today was kinda fun. Had a new hair cut at a new place- 2 steps i think lol. wanted to go joemil then sean forced me to go 2 steps =/ haiz... hahas went play pool before that with yong kang, jon phay, yuan long, chiau, ralph and joel. woots current score with yong kang is 3-2 hahas after today we drew each other with a 1-1 =/ finally we both won each other without defaulting hahas.

1st part of the day got back physics test. woah not bad seh =D contented that i got 25/35 =D hahas
highest in class 32- omg guess who. Wee liang =D and then got back EMATH TRIGO! dumdumdumdum..... 14/21. wow. lucky mr zuraimi was so good and dint minus off another 2 points for writing wrong unit =D yay me. So glad i passed as i expected a fail =/ but its gonna come soon... the AMATH TRIGO TEST WAS @%%^@^!!! kao TANGENT CURVE came out... and i had no idea how to solve the other 3 questions... gg... no retest somemore -.- kao that zuraimi sure is bad... hope i get good marks for my english paper now...
